Adult Group Lessons Les Deux Alpes

ESF Les Deux Alpes offers a broad selection of adult group lessons for visitors who want to learn to ski or snowboard, regain confidence after a break or take their technique further. The group format combines professional instruction with a friendly atmosphere, allowing participants to develop their skills while sharing the experience with other adults of a similar level. One of the attractions of group tuition is the combination of instruction and social interaction. Rather than learning alone, participants can share the experience with other adult skiers or snowboarders, making group lessons particularly suitable for couples, friends and solo travellers. The meeting point depends on the lesson and ability level. Current adult group ski courses use locations including ESF Jandri and ESF Belle Étoile, while specific courses may have their own designated meeting area. Checking the meeting point before the first lesson is particularly important for guests staying elsewhere in the resort. Arriving early also gives participants time to organise their skis or snowboard and reach the group without unnecessary stress.

Adult group ski lessons are available from complete beginner through to advanced skier. The standard programme is divided into ability levels, helping instructors adapt the content and pace to the participants.

Beginners

Beginners can concentrate on the fundamentals of skiing, including balance, controlling speed, stopping and making turns. As confidence develops, lessons introduce more varied terrain and help participants become increasingly comfortable using the lifts and skiing independently.

Intermediates

Intermediate skiers can work on improving their turns, posture, balance and overall control. These lessons are also an opportunity to become more confident on a wider selection of slopes and to make better use of the Les Deux Alpes ski area.

Advanced

For experienced skiers, Classe 3 and Classe 4 courses provide more technically demanding instruction. These higher levels are designed for participants who are already comfortable skiing a variety of pistes and want to refine their technique and tackle more challenging terrain.

How is it organised?

HALF DAY - 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00

FULL DAY - 5.5 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00

Adult Snowboard Lessons

Snowboarders are also catered for with group courses covering different ability levels. The programme is designed to combine technical development with the enjoyment of riding in a group, helping participants progress at a comfortable pace while discovering the Les Deux Alpes terrain.

How is it organised?

HALF DAY - 3 hours per day starting Sunday or Monday, from 09.00 - 12.00

FULL DAY - 5.5 hours per day starting Sunday or Monday, from 14.30 to 17.00

Freeride lessons

ESF Les Deux Alpes offers freeride and off-piste courses aimed at experienced skiers, with small groups of approximately four to six participants. These programmes are designed for Class 4 or Expert-level skiers and introduce participants to the off-piste environment under professional supervision.

There are also dedicated freestyle and competition programmes for skiers who want to develop more specialised skills. The adult programme therefore extends well beyond basic instruction, giving accomplished skiers opportunities to explore different aspects of the sport.
