Arosa Lenzerheide Overview
Arosa is a resort located in eastern Switzerland, in the canton of Graubünden. It is one of the largest ski resorts in Europe and, thanks to its high altitude, snow is guaranteed throughout the season. It offers over 225 km of ski slopes, suitable for all levels of skiers, from those trying skiing and snowboarding for the first time, to beginners, intermediate skiers and the most experienced. In fact, there are blue runs (the easiest), as well as red and black runs (the steepest and most challenging). Arosa is also particularly well-suited to freeride and ski touring enthusiasts. The Parpaner Rothorn and the Arosa Weisshorn are two of the most famous spots for off-piste skiing, and guided ski safaris are also organised. Freestyle skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy here, thanks to a fully equipped snow park offering courses for various skill levels. As well as skiing, you can also enjoy tobogganing on the various runs available.
The town of Arosa is a rather old alpine village and well worth a visit. It has a number of restaurants and bars. As for après-ski and nightlife, however, Arosa has a fairly quiet atmosphere, better suited to families and those who prefer to relax after a day on the slopes.

Things to do in Arosa Lenzerheide
Activities - In Arosa, as well as the usual skiing and snowboarding, you can also try your hand at other activities, such as freeride skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, tobogganing and snowshoeing.
Restaurants - When it comes to food, Arosa offers a wide range of restaurants to choose from. Among those we recommend trying are ‘La Brezza’, which serves refined fish and meat dishes; Alparosa, which offers authentic dishes made with local produce in an alpine atmosphere; and Le Bistro, a very popular spot.
Apres Ski & Nightlife - When it comes to après-ski and nightlife, Arosa doesn’t offer a huge selection, as it favours a more relaxed atmosphere that’s suitable for families with children. However, there are a few bars and venues where you can go for an aperitif or a night out. These include the Kursaal Arosa, Los and Drockarosa.
