Bansko Ski School
Booking your ski school in advance with us will cost you less than booking on arrival!
Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.
As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. Just email us with exactly what you're looking for (for example, the number of adults and children, ski levels and your preferred times and dates), and we'll get straight back to you with a price.
The ski school in Bansko is easily accessible (right across from the lift station). If you have any questions, get in touch with us by email or telephone and we'd be happy to advise!

Group lessons
Group lessons are organised by dividing participants according to age and ability level, so that everyone can learn alongside people of a similar standard. This ensures both better teaching and learning, as well as more enjoyment.
You can start ski group lessons any day of the week. Group lessons last two or four hours, depending on your requirements, and are organised as follows:
- half-day: from 10.00H to 12.00H
and/or
full-day: from 13.00H to 15.00H
Snowboard lessons (only available for 12+years) are for 2 hours per day from 10.00H to 12.00H.
Groups usually consist of up to 8 people but group numbers can be higher at peak times like school holidays etc. Group lessons are available in English, Russian and Greek.
Ski school age groups are as follows
Infants (Kindergarten): 4 to 6 years. From 09.00H-16.30H. Includes activities, games & introductory lessons for 1 or 2 hours daily.
Children: 7-11 years.
Adults: 12 years +
Private lessons
Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to snowboarding.
For private lessons, there are two options available:
- one-to-one tuition, which consists of a lesson for one person with a teacher
- private group lessons, which are an excellent option for a small group, such as friends or a family, provided the participants are of a similar age and level.
