Cavalese Ski Extras

Cavalese Overview

Cavalese is a typical Trentino town and is the main one in Val di Fiemme. It offers a nice centre, with several restaurants where you can taste excellent local and traditional Italian dishes, several places to enjoy an aperitivo after a day on the slopes or before dinner, and several craft shops.

Despite the small size of this resort, there are slopes for all levels of ability, especially for beginners.  The lifts are modern and will quickly take you to the top of the mountain, Alpe Cermis. In addition, the slopes are dotted with huts where you can refresh yourself between one ski run and the next. A convenient free bus service is available here, which will take you around all the peaks of this valley.

Various events are organised in this resort, such as the Trentino Ski Sunrise Event, where you can try your hand at skiing at dawn.

Cavalese is not a resort fanatical for its nightlife: in fact, it is generally a quiet place with a relaxed atmosphere. However, you will find some places to have fun until late at night.
