Claviere Overview
Claviere is a small village located on the border between Italy and France in the southern part of the large ski area of the Milky Way, which, with its 400km, is one of the largest in Italy. Thanks to its proximity to France, it is possible to ski in the French ski resort of Montgenèvre with a single ski pass, thanks to the connection present. Given the large size of the resort, skiers of all levels will find satisfaction skiing in this location. In particular, Claviere offers excellent slopes for intermediate skiers. As for ski touring and freeride skiing, even though there aren’t a ton of options, the ones that are out there are fun.
The village of Claviere is small in size and does not have many services. For these reasons, it is particularly suitable for families and groups of students looking for a location with more affordable prices compared to other areas.

Things to do in Claviere
Activities - In addition to skiing and snowboarding on the slopes in Claviere you can practice ski touring, freeride skiing, Nordic walking and snowshoe walking.
Restaurants - Among the many restaurants you can find in Claviere, we recommend you try the Kilt pizzeria, the Gran Bouc restaurant and the La Coche restaurant.
Nightlife - Claviere is not the ideal place for those who like to party at apres-ski and dance until late at night, since there are no suitable venues, but only bars where you can enjoy excellent drinks at the end of the day. However, the ski resort of Montgenevre, much more lively and with local entertainment, is located just 2km away from Claviere.
