Kappl Overview
Kappl is a ski resort (also connected to See) offering over 80 km of ski slopes. Snow conditions remain excellent throughout the season, thanks to the high altitude and exposure. The facilities are quite modern and the entire resort is well connected, including to the See area. The slopes at this resort are suitable for all levels of skiers. In particular, thanks to the large number of red slopes, this resort is particularly suitable for intermediate skiers, who will find a wide choice of slopes to suit them. However, even novice and more experienced skiers will find slopes to suit them. Furthermore, for the more adventurous, this area is also suitable for freeride skiing and there is one well organised snowpark for the freestyle lovers.
Kappl is a small, quiet village, very popular with families with children. There are not many bars and clubs, and the nightlife is always quiet. However, if you are looking for a bit of fun, the famous resort of Ischgl is just a few kilometres away and easily accessible if you want a change of atmosphere for a day.

Things to do in Kappl
Activities - As mentioned above, Kappl is a fairly quiet village, where there are few activities to do other than skiing and snowboarding, so if you are not a skier or snowboarder, it may not be the most suitable place for you. However, there are trails for snowshoeing and walking. In any case, Kappl's proximity to the larger town of Ischgl means you can get there in a few minutes and find a leisure center, many shops, and places to entertain yourself.
Restaurants - Although Kappl does not offer many restaurants to choose from, all of them serve excellent dishes, both local and international cuisine. Among those we recommend trying are Luis Diner, where you can enjoy delicious burgers accompanied by cocktails in a cosy and warm atmosphere, Bella Vista Restaurant, which specializes in pasta and pizza, Mountaingarage, which offers both typical Tyrolean dishes and international cuisine in an elegant setting, and Bock-Alm Lodges, a typical mountain hut located on the ski slopes where you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, from pizza to local specialties.
Nightlife - Although Kappl's nightlife is not particularly lively, there are a few places where you can go to have fun. Among those we recommend visiting are the Sunny Mountain Resort, a venue with a large terrace and ice bar, and the Schupfa, located right at the ski lift departure point, a venue with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. For something more lively, you can head to nearby Ischgl, where there are several clubs famous for après-ski and various discos.
