La Tania is part of the Three Valleys ski area and is an excellent alternative to the more famous but also much more expensive resorts for those looking for a quieter and more budget-friendly destination. Here you will find slopes suitable for all levels of skiers, although it is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, as well as families.
The town is small and pretty and particularly convenient due to the presence of many ski-in/ski-out accommodations thanks to its proximity to the ski slopes. In the centre, you will find many restaurants to choose from, but if you want more choice, Courchevel is not far away and can be reached by car or bus. As for après-ski and nightlife, La Tania is not the ideal place for those looking for wild fun until late at night, as it is definitely more suited to families. However, there are a few places where you can go to enjoy excellent drinks after a day on the slopes.

Things to do - In addition to classic skiing and snowboarding on the slopes, in La Tania you can also enjoy snowshoe walking and ski touring. You can also try your hand at outdoor ice skating. For an evening of fun with family or friends, you can challenge each other at the bowling alley.
Restaurants - La Tania offers a wide choice of restaurants, most of which serve typical French cuisine and pizza in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Among the places we recommend trying are Le Farcon, a Michelin-starred restaurant offering high-quality cuisine, La Ferme de La Tania, an excellent family restaurant serving typical dishes such as fondue and raclette, as well as pizza, Les Marmottons, which serves some of the best pizzas as well as typical French dishes, Pub Le Ski Lodge, a pub serving hamburgers and fish and chips, and La Taiga, a restaurant with a traditional atmosphere serving typical local dishes.
Nightlife - As already mentioned, La Tania is a ski resort strictly for families and therefore not the ideal place for those who love wild après-ski and partying until the early hours of the morning on the dance floor. In fact, the bars and clubs here are mostly suited to a relaxing aperitif with excellent drinks after a day on the slopes. Among the places to visit are La Taiga Bar, a modern bar offering excellent drinks where you can watch sports on TV and listen to live music, Hotel Le Montana, whose bar offers a cosy and relaxed atmosphere where you can spend an evening unwinding, and Pub Le Ski Lodge, which is perhaps the best place in the area for après-ski at fairly reasonable prices.
