Ruka Overview

Ruka is one of Finland’s most popular and snow-sure ski resorts, located just north of the Arctic Circle in the region of Kuusamo. Known for its long winter season, reliable natural snowfall, and modern infrastructure, Ruka is a favourite destination for both international visitors and Finnish skiers. The resort is built around the Rukatunturi fell, offering a compact village atmosphere with ski-in/ski-out accommodation, restaurants, and services all within easy reach of the slopes.

The ski area features around 30 km of pistes, with a strong focus on intermediate terrain, making it ideal for confident recreational skiers.
