Serfaus Overview
This sunny Austrian resort, made up of three villages, is ideal for families with children. In fact, thanks to the presence of two large nursery areas, children can learn to ski while having fun. The slopes, mostly blue and red, are suitable for all levels of skiers, so beginners, intermediates and experts alike will find satisfaction and enjoyment skiing in this resort. There is also a snow park and a ski cross course for the more adventurous.
As mentioned, this resort consists of three villages. The first is Fiss, the most central, which is equipped with all amenities, from places to go out to slopes for learning. The second is Serfaus, which even has its own train to transport visitors to the other side of the resort, and the last is Ladis, located slightly lower down the mountain and with a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

Things to do in Sefaus-Fiss-Ladis
Activities - In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers other snow-related activities and sports, such as cross-country skiing, Nordic walking, boarder cross, floodlit skiing, outdoor ice skating, paragliding, snow biking, snowshoe walking and tobogganing. If you prefer something more relaxing, you can enjoy a stroll through the Christmas markets, relax at the leisure centre or visit the local museum.
Restaurants - Scattered throughout the three locations that make up the resort, there are more than 30 restaurants, so everyone can find the best places for their tastes and budgets. Among the places we recommend you try are the Restaurant Astoria, located inside the hotel of the same name, which is a typical traditional Austrian restaurant serving local dishes, Ski Lounge, where you can enjoy a beautiful view during your lunch, perhaps on the terrace, Serfauser Dorfstubn, a traditional restaurant with an excellent wine list, and Zirbenhutte, a typical Alpine-style restaurant with open fires and lots of wood.
Nightlife - Although Serfaus is not particularly known for its après-ski entertainment and nightlife, there are several places to go and have fun after spending a beautiful day on the ski slopes. These include Patschi Bar, a typical Austrian après-ski bar located right at the end of the slope leading to Serfaus, Oskar's Schirmbar, with a more relaxed atmosphere, ideal for sipping an excellent drink in peace, and Hexenalm, the perfect place to let your hair down to DJ sets, located right next to the ski slopes.
