Ski School - Andorra

Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.

As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request.

All the resorts in Andorra offer ski and snowboard lessons. Lessons normally start on a Monday . They are 3 hours per day either 10am - 13.00 or 14.00 - 17.00. There is also a weekend school in most resorts which is Saturday and Sunday.

If you are arriving in Andorra during the peak season, then it’s essential that you book your place as much in advance as possible, especially for half-term periods.

Ski School Group Lesson Information

Group lessons are divided into the following groups.

Beginners – Those who have never skied before. Let the instructors know if you want to ski with friends or you are part of a large group and we shall do our best to keep you all together.

Dry slope - Snowdome skiers - those who have completed a few hours of skiing before.

Intermediates and higher level intermediates/advanced – Skiers who are able to ski an easy blue in snowplough or a parallel "all mountain" skier and can use a chairlift are classed as intermediate or advanced. Don’t worry if you can ski reds/blacks etc we will find the group for you as well. Intermediates are then divided into 3 groups dependant on skiing ability and confidence.

Snowboarding – Beginners and intermediates meet at the same place and are divided up according to ability.

Snowboard group lessons are form 12 years and above except in Soldeu and El Trater where they can be 6 years old.

Weekend Ski & Snowboard School

We also have a 2 day weekend Ski & Snowboard school on a Saturday & Sunday (3 hours per day)

Saturday & Sunday - 6 hours (2 Days: 3 hours per day)

From Beginners Level, right through to Intermediate Level, and Advanced Level.

Weekend ski school times - 10:00 to 13:00

Snow Garden - Ages 3 to 5 years

Looking after the younger ones can often make the difference to the holiday so having a safe environment where they can ski and play is essential.

The snowgarden accepts children between 3 and 5 years old

3 hours per day, 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days. Includes ski lessons. lift pass, skis, boots & helmet for the duration.

Entry time is from 10 am or 14.00

The activity consists of the discovery of skiing through games in the snow in a space reserved and controlled by qualified instructors.

The environment is designed for the little ones to enjoy their first contact with skiing, but also for those children who have some knowledge.

The monitors are qualified to be able to leave the premises and go to the slopes if the group develops favorably.

Children must be equipped with warm clothes and ski equipment (goggles, helmet, gloves, sun protection…).

Please note that equipment is not included and should be booked separately. Lift pass for 5 years and uner is free. (proof of age required and collect in resort)

Kids Full Day Programme

The Kids Program is designed specifically for children. It combines ski lessons, games and adventure activities, to ensure that children have an unforgettable day. Classes will take place on the children's circuits and are taught by children's monitors. Games and activities are organized in the afternoon.

The Kids Program includes: 3 hours ski school + food + games and activities.

Available for children from 3 to 11 years old. Split into 2 groups 3 to 5 years and 6 to 11 years

Ski lessons: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Lunch: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Afternoon activities: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Snowshoeing tours, igloo construction, search for tracks, children's zip line, tubing, big airbag, sledges and various activities in the snow.

Pick up at : 4:00 p.m.

Please note that equipment and ski pass is not included and should be booked separately

Nursery/kindergarten Information

The nursery is where the little ones can have the best time while their parents ski. The nursery is for children aged between 1 and 5 years old depending on the resort. Opening hours are from 9.30 - 16.30. Available to book for 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days for either half a day or a full day.

Children will either be inside or playing outside in the snow.

The children will be able to play with various toys as well as participate in arts and crafts whilst fully supervised by qualified staff.

They will not receive ski lessons and the prices do not include food

Nappies and baby food must be provided if required.
