/>Ski School Italy
Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.
As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. All the resorts in Italy offer ski and snowboard lessons, both group and private lessons. Group lessons usually start on Sundays or Mondays, depending on the resort, and last for two or three hours a day, depending on the school. As for private lessons, you can choose the date and time to suit your preferences and needs.
If you are arriving in the Italy resorts during the peak season, then it’s essential that you book your place as much in advance as possible, especially for half-term periods.

Ski School Group Lesson Information
During group lessons, you will be divided into groups according to your ability level. The levels are usually divided as follows:
First-timers: those trying skiing or snowboarding for the very first time.
Beginners: those who have skied once or twice and have already had their first go on skis or a snowboard. They are usually those who ski using snowplough technique or snowboard on their heels. Intermediate: those who can ski with parallel skis on blue and red runs and are able to tackle black runs using the snowplough technique.
Advanced: these are people who can ski using parallel skis and snowboard on all types of slopes, whether blue, red or black.

Programmes for children
Across Italy’s various resorts, ski schools have devised programmes specifically for children, combining skiing lessons with fun. These activities are usually designed for children aged 5 and over however some schools have courses starting from 3/4 years of age. These programmes usually consist of group lessons with a small number of participants and are structured as follows:
Ski lessons: Usually 2 to 4 hours depending on the course you book. Most schools will start around 10:00 in the morning
Lunch: from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm or from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, there is a lunch break, usually lasting one hour, during which the children eat together, naturally always under the supervision of the instructors accompanying them. Please note this is a just a typical example and will vary resort to resort
Lessons and play in the snow: Usually, there is an hour-long lesson in the afternoon, followed by another hour of various snow-based activities focused on play, so that the children can let off steam and have fun.

Ski School Private Lesson Information
Private lessons offer clients the advantage of being able to choose the day, time and location of their lessons, subject to availability, of course. Furthermore, the one-to-one relationship with the instructor often leads to faster learning, as the instructor can tailor the lesson to your needs. What’s more, private lessons are ideal for those who wish to try their hand at other skiing and snowboarding disciplines, such as freeriding and freestyle.
