Stoten Overview
Stöten in Sälen is one of Sweden’s leading ski resorts, located in the northern part of the Sälen mountains near the Norwegian border. Known for having the highest vertical drop in the Sälen region, the resort combines modern infrastructure with varied terrain suitable for beginners, families, and advanced skiers alike. Stöten offers around 50 slopes connected by modern chairlifts and drag lifts, including wide family-friendly pistes, challenging black runs such as the famous Älvan slope, terrain parks, and off-piste opportunities.
