Zell am See Ski School
Booking your ski school in advance with us will cost you less than booking on arrival!
Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.
As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. Just email us with exactly what you're looking for (for example, the number of adults and children, ski levels and your preferred times and dates), and we'll get straight back to you with a price. Similarly, if you'd like some advice on which ski school in Zell am See would be best for you, drop us an email to info@SkiAndSnowHolidays.com or give us a call. If you are unsure which one to choose, don't worry, based on where you are staying and your skiing/snowboarding requirements, we will book you into the one most suitable.
All of the ski schools in Zell am See are easily accessible. But if you're still not sure which school to choose, get in touch by email or telephone and we'd be happy to advise!

Group lessons
Group lessons are organised by dividing participants according to age and ability level, so that everyone can learn alongside people of a similar standard. This ensures both better teaching and learning, as well as more enjoyment.
Group lessons are held in German and English and are organised as follows:
- group lessons for beginner children (aged 4 to 11): starting on Sundays or Mondays, 4 hours a day, from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00.
- group lessons for teenagers (aged 12 to 15): starting on Sundays and Mondays, 4 hours a day, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00.
- Group lessons for adults (aged 16 and over): starting on Mondays and Sundays for 4 hours a day, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00.
The available meeting points are AreitXpress, CityXpress or TrassXpress.
Group snowboarding lessons are available for children aged 10 and over and are taught in German and English. They are organised as follows:
- Group lessons for young people (aged 10 to 15): 4 hours a day, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00.
- Group lessons for adults (aged 16 and over): 4 hours a day, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00.

Children programmes
The Zell am See Ski School offers programmes designed exclusively for children.
- Kids Taster (from 3 to 4 years old): designed for the youngest children, who will explore skiing for the first time with a private instructor, taking their first steps on the snow whilst having fun.
- Mini Club (from 3 to 5 years old): in this course, children will learn the basics of skiing through a fun approach, thanks to the instructors’ expertise. At the end of the course, there will be a race with medals and certificates awarded. This course is available at the following locations: AreiXpress and TrassXpress / Schmittenhöhe.

Private lessons
Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to freestyle skiing, freeride skiing and snowboarding.
Depending on your skill level, you’ll agree on a meeting point for the lesson with the instructor.
