Bormio Overview
Bormio, located in Valtellina, is a small town at the foot of the ski slopes, particularly known for its ski slope where Alpine Ski World Cup competitions are held and for the fact that it will host the men's downhill race at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Apart from that, Bormio is an excellent place for skiers of all levels, as it offers ski slopes for everyone, from beginners to intermediate skiers to the more experienced. For more advanced skiers, a descent down the Stelvio slope is a must. It leads directly to the valley and is often used for important ski competitions.
Furthermore, for those who love wellness and spas, Bormio is the perfect place, as it boasts several facilities to suit all tastes and budgets for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Food lovers will not be disappointed, as there are many different restaurants in the village to suit all tastes.

Things to do in Bormio
Activities - In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Bormio offers a variety of activities to enjoy during your vacation. These include a visit to the Bagni Vecchi, Bagni Nuovi, and Pozze di Bormio, three famous wellness centers. For those who enjoy sports, there is ski touring, snowshoeing, fat bike rides, and cross-country skiing.
Restaurants - As mentioned above, Bormio offers a wide choice of restaurants where you can enjoy excellent dishes. Among those we recommend trying are Gavioli, a restaurant with a welcoming and convivial atmosphere offering excellent Italian cuisine; Al Filò, with a friendly atmosphere and excellent dishes, from appetizers to desserts; and La Vecchia Combo, an intimate restaurant where you can enjoy traditional local and home-style cuisine.
Nightlife - Bormio offers a fairly lively nightlife. Most of the bars and clubs are located in the historic center of town or close to the ski slopes. For après-ski, we recommend Be White Bormio, a very popular venue at the moment, excellent both for the atmosphere, often with live music, but also for late evening and nighttime, as it turns into a real disco. Then there is 30m2 Bormio, which organizes happy hours with DJ sets or live music and also theme nights. It is located at the end of the Bormio 2000 ski slopes. The Zeta Pub, where you can eat and drink in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the Clem Pub, which is quite large and has several separate rooms, organizes live music evenings.
