Obergurgl Overview
Obergurgl is one of the highest villages in the Alps at 1930m, so offers guaranteed snow.. The ski area has plenty of variety too, from gentle nursery slopes, tree-lined and wide open pistes. Beginners are well looked after by the local ski school, and kids can have fun on the slopes or trying the mini jumps in the snow park.
There are plenty of high quality hotels with great facilities such as pools, saunas etc. and playrooms for kids – most hotels are just a short walk to the nearest ski lift.
In the evenings the village is very peaceful although if you are looking for some après ski then most head to the Nederhütte bar The live band hits the stage mid afternoon each day to get the party started
