Solden - Ski Extras

Solden Overview

Famous for the cable car scene form the James Bond movie - Spectre, most of the skiing in Solden is above 2,000m, so you can find excellent snow conditions from mid November to early May.  You can also do the Big 3 Rally which is a 50km tour that takes in the panoramic viewpoints at the top of resort’s three highest peaks, plus Austria's longest ski run that takes you from the glacier back down to Solden.


The resort itself has a traditional Tyrolean look and with over 50 restaurants to eat out at to enjoy Austria's traditional dishes such as Tiroler Grostl,  or maybe you just fancy a Schnitzel, Sushi or a burger there is something for everyone.

Great apres ski from mid-afternoon, in the centre of the village there are many pubs, and clubs .

Airport Transfers - How to get to Solden

We can organise your transfers from Salzburg airport, Innsbruck airport or Munich aiport.  You can also choose between a shuttle transfer which can be more economical if ony a few people are travelling or a private transfer which will take you direct from the airport to your accommodation.

If you are making your own way to the resort by car - make sure you have the "Vignette" sticker as you will need this to travel on the highways in Austria otherwise you would receive a fine.
