Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.
As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. Just email us with exactly what you're looking for (for example, the number of adults and children, ski levels and your preferred times and dates), and we'll get straight back to you with a price. Similarly, if you'd like some advice on which ski school in Morzine would be best for you, drop us an email to info@SkiAndSnowHolidays.com or give us a call. If you are unsure which one to choose, don't worry, based on where you are staying and your skiing/snowboarding requirements, we will book you into the one most suitable.

The ESF Serre Chevalier Valley brings together French Ski School instructors across the different villages of the Serre Chevalier ski area. With around 350 ESF instructors working across the valley, the school provides a broad choice of skiing, snowboarding and mountain activities for children, teenagers and adults.
Serre Chevalier is one of Europe's larger ski areas, with approximately 250 km of pistes extending from 1,200 to 2,800 metres in altitude. The ESF schools are located across the valley, including Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve-la-Salle and Le Monêtier-les-Bains, allowing visitors to choose a ski school close to their accommodation and preferred sector of the resort.
The school places considerable emphasis on professional instruction. ESF Serre Chevalier says its instructors are trained through ENSA, the French national school responsible for mountain and ski instructor training, and have specialist knowledge covering disciplines from piste skiing to freeride, freestyle, snowboarding and Nordic activities.
Ski / Snowboard Lessons for All Ages
Children and teenagers group ski school
Alpine skiing forms the core of the ESF programme. Children can begin with introductory lessons and progress through the familiar ESF star system, while older children and teenagers have opportunities to move towards more advanced skiing, freestyle and competition-oriented programmes. The children's group lessons combine technical instruction with games and a sociable atmosphere, helping young skiers develop their skills while enjoying time with other children.
Adult Group Ski School
Adults are also catered for at every stage, from discovering skiing for the first time to improving established technique. Depending on the ESF centre and programme, adults can choose group lessons, private coaching, competition training or more specialised skiing such as freeski and off-piste instruction.
Private Ski / Snowboard lessons
For visitors wanting a more individual approach, ESF Serre Chevalier also provides private instruction. Private lessons can be arranged for skiing or snowboarding and are suitable for different ability levels and personal objectives. Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to freestyle skiing, freeride skiing and snowboarding.
Depending on your skill level, you’ll agree on a meeting point for the lesson with the instructor.
The format is particularly useful when someone wants to overcome a particular difficulty, regain confidence, learn a new discipline or concentrate intensively on technique. At the Chantemerle ESF, for example, private lessons can be arranged for one or two people and are available in several languages, including French, English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian and Greek.
