Serre Chavalier Ski School

Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.

As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. Group lessons

Group lessons are organised by dividing participants according to age and ability level, so that everyone can learn alongside people of a similar standard. This ensures both better teaching and learning, as well as more enjoyment.

SKIING GROUP LESSONS

- Children group lessons (from 3 to 12 years old): 2.5 hours per day. Five days lessons can start Sunday or Monday, six days lessons start only on Sunday from 09.30 to 12.00. During Christmas and French holidays periods times available are from 09.00 to 11.30 and from 11.30 to 14.00.

Youth group lessons (from 13 to 17 years old): 2.5 hours per day. Five days lessons can start Sunday or Monday, six days lessons start only on Sunday from 09.30 to 12.00. During Christmas and French holidays periods times available are from 09.00 to 11.30 and from 11.30 to 14.00.

- Adults group lessons (from 18 years plus): 2.5 hours per day. Five days lessons can start Sunday or Monday, six days lessons start only on Sunday from 09.30 to 12.00. During Christmas and French holidays periods times available are from 09.00 to 11.30 and from 11.30 to 14.00.

Children will receive a medal at the end of the course.

SNOWBOARD GROUP LESSONS

- Youth group lessons (from 8 to 17 years old): 2.5 hours per day from 09.30 to 12.00 (starting Sunday or Monday)

- Adults group lessons (from 18 years old): 2.5 hours per day from 09.30 to 12.00 (starting Sunday or Monday)

During Christmas & February French holiday periods, times are from 09.00 to 11.30 and from 11.30 to 14.00.

Five days lessons start on Monday only for beginners.

Five days lessons start on Sunday or Monday for intermediates.

Six days lessons start on Sunday only for intermediates.

The meeting point for morning lessons at the cable car station at 09.30 at Serre Ratier Intermediarie.

Lessons are available in French and English.

Private lessons

Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to freestyle skiing, freeride skiing and snowboarding.

Depending on your skill level, you’ll agree on a meeting point for the lesson with the instructor.
