Les Deux Alpes Ski School

Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.

As well as group lessons, we can also arrange private lessons on request. Group lessons

Group lessons are organised by dividing participants according to age and ability level, so that everyone can learn alongside people of a similar standard. This ensures both better teaching and learning, as well as more enjoyment.

As for skiing group lessons, you can choose between half-day or full-day sessions.

HALF DAY

- Toddlers (aged 3 to 6): 3 hours per day from Sunday or Monday, 09.00 to 12.00

- Children (aged 7 to 12): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00

- Youth (aged 13–17): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00

- Adults (aged 18 and over): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00

FULL DAY

- Toddlers (aged 3 to 6): 3 hours a day from Sunday or Monday, from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00

- Children (aged 7 to 12): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00

- Young people (aged 13–17): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00

- Adults (aged 18 and over): 3 hours per day starting on Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00

Regarding snowboard lessons: - Children (from 8 to 12 years old): 2.5 hours per day starting Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to 12.00

- Adults (from 18 years old): 3 hours per day starting Sunday or Monday from 09.00 to12.00

The lessons are available in French and English.

Programmes for children

The school organise specific activities and programmes dedicated to the children:

• Babysnow (from 2 years old): first experience on the snow and skiing. This program is ideal before going to the Kindergarten.
• Piou Piou Club (from 3 to 5 years old): you can choose if you prefer morning lessons (from 09.00 to 12.00) or the afternoon lessons (from 14.30 to 17.00). The meal option is available for children from 4 years old who are registered for the Ourson or Flocon group lessons. Enjoy skiing longer with peace of mind while we take care of your children during the lunch break (between 12pm and 2.15pm), after the morning session or before the afternoon session.

Private lessons

Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to freestyle skiing, freeride skiing and snowboarding.

Depending on your skill level, you’ll agree on a meeting point for the lesson with the instructor.
