Whether it's your first time on the slopes or you're an off-piste expert, there's a level of tuition available to help you develop and refine your technique. Ski school is also a great way to meet like-minded people and have some fun skiing together with everyone sharing hints and tips across the group.

The Les 2 Alpes ski school is the official École du Ski Français in Les 2 Alpes, offering a broad programme of ski and snowboard instruction for children, teenagers and adults. With courses ranging from first experiences on snow to advanced skiing, freestyle, freeride and competition training, the school provides options for different ages, abilities and ambitions.

With programmes for all ages and a wide range of ability levels, ESF Les 2 Alpes provides a comprehensive ski-school experience for families, couples, groups and individual travellers looking to learn, improve or explore the mountain in new ways.

Ski / Snowboard Lessons for All Ages

Children and teenagers group ski school

The school welcomes very young visitors with programmes designed to make their first encounters with snow enjoyable and reassuring. The Club Piou-Piou is available for children aged 3 to 5, while Babysnow introduces children from around two years old to sliding on snow. Private lessons for younger children are also available from age three.

Children aged 6 to 12 can join group ski lessons covering all levels. More experienced youngsters can progress into specialist programmes such as competition training and freestyle courses, with certain advanced programmes requiring the Gold Star level. Snowboard lessons are available from age eight.

Teenagers from 13 years old have a choice of programmes combining skiing development with a more adventurous approach to the mountain. Alongside standard beginner-to-advanced lessons, ESF Les 2 Alpes offers Team Rider, freestyle, competition and all-mountain options. Snowboard courses are also available at different levels.

Adult Group Ski School

Adults can join group ski lessons regardless of their experience, from complete beginners through to advanced skiers. Group lessons provide a sociable way to learn alongside other visitors with broadly similar abilities. For travellers looking for more individual attention, private lessons offer a more personalised approach, with the instruction adapted to the skier's objectives and pace. For those wanting something more specialised, ESF also offers freeride and off-piste courses, freestyle training, competition programmes and snowboard tuition.

Private Ski / Snowboard lessons

Private lessons are arranged to suit the client’s availability; clients can choose the day and time, subject, of course, to the school’s availability (for this reason, particularly if you are travelling during the high season, we recommend booking your lessons in advance). Lessons are available for a range of disciplines, from alpine skiing to freestyle skiing, freeride skiing and snowboarding.

Depending on your skill level, you’ll agree on a meeting point for the lesson with the instructor.
