La Plagne Overview

La Plagne is part of the large ski area called Paradiski, which boasts 425 km of slopes, of which La Plagne alone has 225 km. Thanks to its large number of blue and red slopes, nursery areas and six ski schools, this resort is a real paradise for families, beginners and intermediate skiers. However, even the most experienced skiers will find satisfaction on this terrain, especially freeride enthusiasts thanks to the presence of fresh powder. Here you will also find the Couloir Canadian, a famous run.

The La Plagne ski resort is made up of several villages, so depending on your tastes and needs, you will find the right place for you. There is La Plagne Centre, built in 1961, La Plagne Soleil, which is the newest of all, Belle Plagne, La Plagne 1800, La Plagne Villages, which is the most central and close to the ski slopes, Plagne Aime 2000, which is quieter and great for families, and Plagne Montalbert's, whose centre is car-free and is a rather relaxing place, ideal if you don't like chaos. Among the various villages, you will find more than 100 restaurants to choose from. There are pizzerias and restaurants serving traditional French cuisine. For lovers of après-ski and nightlife, La Plagne is not the best place due to its geography, as it is not a single town but several villages, which can make getting around difficult. However, once you get past this minor obstacle, you will find many places to choose from depending on your preferences and needs.
