La Plagne is part of the large ski area called Paradiski, which boasts 425 km of slopes, of which La Plagne alone has 225 km. Thanks to its large number of blue and red slopes, nursery areas and six ski schools, this resort is a real paradise for families, beginners and intermediate skiers. However, even the most experienced skiers will find satisfaction on this terrain, especially freeride enthusiasts thanks to the presence of fresh powder. Here you will also find the Couloir Canadian, a famous run.
The La Plagne ski resort is made up of several villages, so depending on your tastes and needs, you will find the right place for you. There is La Plagne Centre, built in 1961, La Plagne Soleil, which is the newest of all, Belle Plagne, La Plagne 1800, La Plagne Villages, which is the most central and close to the ski slopes, Plagne Aime 2000, which is quieter and great for families, and Plagne Montalbert's, whose centre is car-free and is a rather relaxing place, ideal if you don't like chaos. Among the various villages, you will find more than 100 restaurants to choose from. There are pizzerias and restaurants serving traditional French cuisine. For lovers of après-ski and nightlife, La Plagne is not the best place due to its geography, as it is not a single town but several villages, which can make getting around difficult. However, once you get past this minor obstacle, you will find many places to choose from depending on your preferences and needs.

Things to do - There are many activities to enjoy during your stay in La Plagne. These include ski touring, snowshoe walking, fat biking, paragliding, ice climbing, dog sledding and skidooing. If you want to relax after a day on the slopes or on a bad weather day, you can visit the wellness centre with swimming pool, enjoy a film at the local cinema or try your hand at bowling.
Restaurants - In La Plagne, you will find around 100 restaurants scattered throughout its many villages, among which you are sure to find those that best suit your tastes. Among those worth trying at least once are Le Forperet, located in Plagne Montalbert, which offers typical French dishes prepared with ingredients from the owners' farm, Le Petit Chaperon Rouge, in Plagne 1800, located right next to the ski slopes, where you can enjoy French cuisine, L'Arlequin, a Plagne Aime 2000, which serves traditional dishes as well as pizza and hamburgers, Au Coin de Feu, a Plagne Soleil, which offers traditional cuisine in a modern mountain setting, La Matafan, perhaps the best restaurant in Belle Plagne, where you can enjoy high-quality dishes, and La Refuge, a traditional French restaurant.
Nightlife - Although La Plagne is not a single town but several villages, making it less convenient to get around, you will find a number of places to choose from. These include Spitting Feathers, a traditional English pub run by Arsenal fans, La Mine Bar, another English pub that also hosts DJ sets and live music, Igloo Igloo, an igloo-shaped bar serving excellent homemade cocktails with DJ sets in the background, Le Bonnet, a great place for après-ski, and La Bergerie, located right next to the ski slopes, where you can dance until late at night.
