Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski ski area, which boasts 425 km of slopes, 210 of which are part of the Les Arcs resort. From here, you can take the cable car to visit the La Plagne ski area and ski on the remaining kilometres of slopes. The Les Arcs ski resort has terrain suitable for all types of skiers: in fact, each small village that makes up this resort has an area for beginners and easy blue slopes where children and beginners can approach the world of skiing, but thanks to the presence of splendid red slopes, this is a real paradise for intermediate skiers. In Les Arcs, you can experience skiing on a glacier, namely the Glacier du Varet, which is particularly suitable for more experienced skiers who want to put their skills to the test. This resort is also ideal for freeride skiing enthusiasts, who should definitely try the Grand Col, where there is a large amount of fresh snow. If you're new to off-piste skiing, you'll find easier spots to get started, like Peisey-Vallandry.
As mentioned previously, Les Arcs is made up of several villages, each with its own characteristics, so you're sure to find a place that suits your tastes and needs. There are Arc 1600, with a more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere; Arc 1800, the livelier one; Arc 2000, which is best connected to the slopes; and Arc 1950, which, despite being the newest of all, has a welcoming Alpine atmosphere. In all the villages, you'll find a wide selection of restaurants offering both traditional French and international cuisine, depending on your preferences. When it comes to apres-ski and nightlife, Les Arcs is a great place to have fun, especially in Arc 1800, where there are plenty of places to party.
