Meribel is a famous French ski resort that is part of the large Three Valleys ski area, which boasts 600 km of slopes.
Meribel is located right in the centre of the Three Valleys ski area and is the ideal destination for skiers of all levels. There are many easy slopes where beginners can gain confidence on skis, but this ski resort is particularly suitable for intermediate skiers, who will find the right terrain to improve their technique and have fun. More experienced skiers and freeride enthusiasts will find plenty of fresh powder to let loose off-piste and challenge themselves with new adrenaline-fuelled challenges.
It is not difficult to understand why it is one of the most popular resorts. In fact, Meribel is a typical mountain town, made up of characteristic wooden and stone chalets and surrounded by beautiful peaks, so while skiing or walking you will be surrounded by breathtaking views. It is a rather lively resort, ideal for those looking for fun in addition to skiing. In fact, there are many restaurants to choose from: most are quite expensive, but there are also some cheaper options. Meribel offers a very interesting après-ski and nightlife scene, as there are plenty of bars and clubs that come alive as soon as the ski lifts close and continue into the early hours of the morning.

Restaurants - If you are a foodie, Meribel is the place for you. There are plenty of restaurants, most of which are quite expensive, although there are also some more affordable places serving typical Savoyard cuisine. Among the restaurants we recommend you try during your stay are La Brizolée, which boasts an extensive menu of typical French dishes, meat dishes and pizza, as well as excellent desserts, Le Grande Coeur, a refined and elegant restaurant where you can enjoy gourmet dishes, Aux Petits Oignons, which offers authentic, homemade dishes at prices that are not too high compared to other restaurants, and Le Fromagerie, famous for its cheese and meat dishes.
Nightlife - The après-ski and nightlife are pretty lively here in Merbel, so if you're looking for a place to party until the early hours of the morning after a day on the slopes, this is the place for you. Among the places you should definitely check out are La Folie Douce, where you can party outdoors with live music, Le Rond Point, conveniently ski-in/ski-out with live music every day, Fifty50 Bar, the ideal place if you want to enjoy a drink without too much hustle and bustle around you, O'Sullivan's, particularly well known in Meribel for the events held here, and Jack's Bar, frequented by both tourists and locals.
