Valmorel is a charming, typical ski resort dotted with characteristic wooden chalets, which create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Valmorel ski resort comprises several locations, including Valmorel, Saint-François-Longchamp, Doucy and Col de la Madeleine.
This ski resort is part of the large Grand Domaine ski area, which boasts 364 kilometres of slopes, 165 kilometres of which are in the Valmorel area.
This resort is particularly suitable for novice skiers, thanks to the large number of green and blue slopes, which are wide and not particularly steep, making them perfect for those approaching the world of skiing for the first time. However, there are also slopes for intermediate and expert skiers, as well as snowparks for snowboarders and more adventurous skiers. Valmorel is also the ideal place for lovers of ski touring and off-piste skiing.
Valmorel is a quiet resort, suitable for families with children. However, it offers a wide choice of places to eat, suitable for all tastes and budgets, as well as bars and nightclubs for those who want to party until the early hours of the morning.
