Morzine Overview

Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, which boasts over 650 km of slopes. One advantage of this resort is that it offers the opportunity to ski in two countries, France and Switzerland, thanks to the system of connections. Morzine is also particularly close to the resort of Avoriaz. The ski slopes at this resort are suitable for skiers of all levels: there are beginner slopes both near the village and at the top of the mountain, where the snow remains in better condition and you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. However, Morzine is a real paradise for intermediate skiers, who can enjoy slopes surrounded by beautiful scenery. while more experienced skiers will find plenty of challenges on the 20 black runs. This resort also offers off-piste skiing for freeride enthusiasts, who will find plenty of fresh powder.

Morzine is a typical mountain village, made up of wooden and stone buildings, stretching along the valley. It is a rather lively place, both in terms of places to eat and drink and shops for shopping. Accommodation is mainly in hotels with breakfast or half board.
