Overview

High up in the Italian Alps and close to the Swiss border, Livigno is the Valtellina valley’s flagship resort and a great destination for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. As a high altitude resort, Livigno is virtually snow guaranteed and the slopes are open from the end of November to the start of May.

Winner of the 2012 World Snow Awards, Livigno is not only a paradise for skiers and boarders but is also popular with shoppers, who come to browse the 250 shops and take advantage of the resort's duty free status. Livigno also has a legendary status for those Apres Ski fans with legendary places such as Stalet and Miky's

Livigno has a duty free status and over 250 shops to browse so is also popular with non skiers. Livigno also has over 100 restaurants to eat out in ranging from budget to 5 star so something for everyone

The ski area is split into two areas, Mottolino and Carosello which are both covered on the ski pass and offer superb wide open slopes that have been perfectly groomed each night. With snowboard parks, boarder cross, wide open pistes and loads of off piste there is something for eveyone in Livigno

There are many restaurants on the mountain to enjoy lunch in such as Tea Borch and Alpino and then after skiing, the place is buzzing and the main places to go are Stalet Apres Ski bar which can hold over 1000 people or in the centre of the village there is Miky's Apres Ski Bar which also offers free food on certain nights

Evening times most people will head to Bivio Club or Miky's Disco Club which has a slide to get in
